It has standard woven cloth seat trim and a smaller touchscreen display at only eight inches. If you’d like a leather interior, you’ll need to upgrade to have features, like a leather-wrapped gear shift knob and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Similarly, you’ll need to pay more for the available Harman Kardon® premium surround sound though it only has eight speakers.

Kia Drive Wise includes a mix of standard and available features, though the standard ones only include common technologies, such as the lane keeping assist and lane departure warning.
While the 2024 Kia Sportage is available in almost as many trims as the 2024 MAZDA CX-5, there is only one engine option and that is the 2.5L inline four-cylinder engine. This 2.5L engine offers up to 187 hp, which is the same horsepower as what MAZDA CX-5’s standard engine offers. However, its torque, which is up to 178 lb-ft of torque, doesn’t compete with MAZDA CX-5’s standard torque. Plus, the Sportage has standard front-wheel drive, so you’ll need to pay more to enjoy the available all-wheel drive if you want better traction on the road.
While the Kia Sportage has many appealing features, it’s obvious that it’s no competition for the MAZDA CX-5 when it comes to delivering more power and a more luxurious driving experience.
