Fun, Food and Support for an Important Cause at Schomp’s Annual Sale

The excitement at Schomp Mazda is building! Our Schomp Annual Sale to support Children’s Hospital Colorado’s Burn Center is July 20-25, and we’re inviting everyone to join us.
Our parent company – the Schomp Automotive Group – has supported this essential community resource for 36 years. Even during a hiatus from 2019-2023, we provided financial support for the Children’s Hospital Colorado Burn Center. To date, it’s amounted to almost $700,000. And we want this year’s Schomp Annual Sale to be the biggest and best ever.
There will be food trucks, ice cream trucks, bubble machines, kids’ coloring stations and more. To top it off, Schomp is hosting a huge Drone Show on the evening of July 19th at our Highlands Ranch location.
“Our Annual Schomp Sale supporting Children’s Hospital Colorado is very dear to our hearts,” said Schomp Automotive’s Dealer Principal, Aaron Wallace. “Our team is excited to share some fun and many-year commitment to this important cause with our Denver-area community.”
The Essential Info
As Aaron Wallace says, this is our once-yearly, purpose-driven sale. Yes, we hope to sell some Mazdas but underlying it all is our commitment to raise money for Children’s Hospital Colorado’s Burn Center:
-
- It is a “come one, come all” event for the entire community to enjoy and help us raise money for this great cause.
- Schomp Mazda will offer special discounts for new and pre-owned vehicles beyond our already-low One Price® (excluding manufacturer’s discounts).
- With every sale, Schomp Automotive will make a donation out of the profits to Children’s Hospital Colorado.
- Donation Stations in the showroom and on our campus will enable people who don’t purchase a vehicle to contribute their support.
- The Drone Show will be July 19th at 9 p.m. It is free and open to the community, so bring blankets and lawn chairs to sit on and enjoy the aerial wizardry of 300 drones creating animations in the sky over our Highlands Ranch campus.
A Story about the Children’s Hospital Colorado Ambassador
His name is Julian, and he’s an excellent example of why we support the Burn Center and its expert team.
When he was a toddler, Julian was badly burned in a kitchen accident. In just a second when his mom’s attention was turned elsewhere, he grabbed at a spoon in a pot of boiling noodles. The pot tipped and sent boiling water all over his arm. Julian was whisked to Children’s Hospital Colorado’s Burn Center, where the team treated the burn, bandaged it and scheduled him for a skin graft procedure.
Growing up, Julian attended a Children’s Hospital Colorado Burn Camp, getting to know other kids who’d had similar experiences. He and his family joined their support network. In school, Julian excelled in his school’s robotics team, and his work advocating for Children’s Hospital Colorado became an important part of his life. Now he’s almost an adult, and that support continues as the face of Children’s Hospital Colorado’s Burn Center – our Ambassador.
