Mazda’s New 3-Row SUV Comes as Both Gas and Plug-In Hybrid Version

The wait is almost over! Mazda’s all-new CX-90 and CX-90 PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Vehicle) will begin arriving at Schomp Mazda this spring. This is the time to look over what’s available in this stunning 3-row SUV and place your order. 

The CX-90 on its own would be a great addition to Mazda’s line up, but Coloradans should be especially pumped about the CX-90 PHEV – Mazda’s first-ever PHEV. 

Here’s what we know about the 2024 Mazda CX-90 PHEV:

• It has an e-SKYACTIV®-PHEV 2.5-liter engine and 68 kW electric motor that together produce 323 horsepower. They’re mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission with Manual-shift.
• The CX-90 PHEV will be all-wheel-drive (Mazda’s i-ACTIV AWD)
• Estimated electric range is 25-30 miles – for longer trips, it has an 18.5-gallon gas tank.
• It’s equipped with a portable Level 1 charging cable to plug into a 120-volt outlet for overnight charging. A Level 2 in-home charging unit can be purchased and will fully charge in 1.5 hours.
• It comes in three trim levels: PHEV Preferred, PHEV Premium and PHEV Premium Plus, with each offering a different and progressively elegant interior.
• It seats up to 8 people.
• There are both state and federal tax credits available for either purchase or leased electrified vehicles.
